Our Process

Product availability, consistency, and competitive pricing for oil and gas operations across West Texas

How Brine Is Made

Brine is a primary raw material used across a wide range of essential U.S. industries — including oilfield services, refineries, power plants, aquariums, and hospital systems. It is most commonly supplied by pipeline directly from producing salt domes or transported by truck.

Brine has been produced commercially using the solution mining process for more than 100 years. After a well is drilled into a salt dome, fresh water is pumped down the well. This water dissolves the underground salt until it becomes a fully saturated brine solution, which is then collected at the surface.

Depending on the customer's needs, brine is available in three forms: raw brine, treated brine, and evaporated salt. Tall City Brine maintains multiple existing locations to supply customers across West Texas. We are continually expanding to serve new customers — contact us with any business development inquiries.
